As someone who has always prided herself on giving credit where it is due, it really boils my blood to see so many people on DA who really don't seem to give a damn about copyright infringements. So, I have written a sort of FAQ's of different issues I have come across. I know that a bunch of articles have been written about this subject, but I feel that I should do all that I can to help.

"Who are you?"
"We are three wise men."
"Well, what are you doing creeping around a cow shed at two o'clock in the morning? That doesn't sound very wise to me."

For All We Know, We're All there Is...
As a subscriber you can put the "Thumb" code of a deviation in your journal and it will then display the thumbnail for that deviation (for instance useful for doing "features", as in my journals^^).
Now, when you put the thumbcode of a "stamp" deviation, it will display the thumbnail of that stamp, which is the stamp itself
The whole "stamp thing" is something that has "grown" I guess, don't know the origins or how long it has been going on.
Here's an example of stamp usage: [link]
And here's the stamp section of dA, sorted by all-time popular: [link]
