The Feral Gargantua

A bit late, but here it is: My vision of what the Feral Gargantua might be.

Here's the story...

The Gargantua 3000 is the latest in autonomous robotic lumberjack technology from the Finnish company AnkkA corp.
About 400 of the machines have been exported to Harvennen IV, where they harvest the Vennon tress on the vast Vennon Plantations on the Northern Continent.

The elephant-sized Bunnobears are a local six-legged species of predator, hunting in packs of 20-30 individuals. They have some short range telepathic abilities, and when they hunt in a pack they form what can best be described as a hive mind.

Now legend has it that during a heavy thunderstorm there once was a freak accident involving an unusually large hunting pack of Bunnobears, a Gargantua 3000 and three lightning strikes in very short succession.

This resulted in the Bunnobear hive mind fusing with the AI of the Gargantua and taking control of the machine. The machine then followed the pack into the wild woods never to be seen again.
