Again, I'm so flattered that you'd be inspired to use one of my pieces to create something of your own. Especially here, where I think this is pretty much an improvement on every aspect of the original. Very well done.

I also love how my "Insult fishes" looked super-happy, while your "Happy Birds" look pissed off, basically as if they were insulting us.

Well, I don't think of this as an "improvement" on the original piece, I see it rather as a companion piece . I like your arrangement better, and the fish-shape is much better suited to that idea. The bird shape is just a bit too complicated I think.

I liked the original idea, and I saw it as a sort of challenge to come up with a "fast" technique to achieve similar results. I'm wondering how you coloured those different fish^^. I did it by essentially just using copies of one bird, and manipulating the colour balance of the individual layers (one layer for each bird).

Yes, I loved that silly super-happy look on the fishes, and just had to go the other way with the birds
